Social Networking.

For the most part, I’m wary of places like Model Mayhem and OneModelPlace if for no other reason than the fact that they’re a lot like MySpace.

This young lady was actually a friend of a woman I’d conspired to meet with to shoot. We were trading. She, her beautiful visage and me (and Jim) my ability to wield a camera. The two of them hung out with us while we shot them and then went back to the lab with us to see how the film was processed. So many people they’d worked with before shot digital that they weren’t completely sure what to make of the film we were using. For that matter, the cameras that we used were foreign to them.

Anyway, this was a lucky grab of the camera-shy friend who’d come along. She was immeasurably cool and I’m glad for the experience.
